U-8 Tide/LLumar: Designed and built by Dave Villwock as a cutting edge design. Used on the Tide in 1992/1993. Surface cracks at the hub prevent its use. Cost -$400. $600 with the prop autograph by Bill Wurster, photo of Bill Wurster holding the prop, running history and a certificate to the authenticity (on U-8 letterhead).

U-8 Llumar; 1998. Drivers canopy with stress cracks. Canopies were designed for use on F-16 fighters. Canopies with visual problems are sold and used by boat racing teams. Teams modify canopies for use on hydroplanes. Modifications included hinges, steel rollcages and paint. Cost -$100.
