SEATTLE–: LLumar Window Film and U-8 Racing Team have once again this year joined together to represent the Race Against Drugs program for the sport of Unlimited Hydroplanes. The Race Against Drugs program is a partnership in drug education by major American Motor sports. The Drug Enforcement Administration will be attending the ceremonies along with one hundred young girls and boys from the Seattle Park and Recreation Department. Each and every one of these children has participated with the Race Enforcement Administration to be eligible to attend this year's special event held at the Seattle Seafair Race August 1-3 2003.
This unique motorsports oriented program was founded in 1990 and has implemented over 1,500 drug awareness programs across the country. It uses the color and excitement of motorsports racing to convey its message of non-impairment.
"We are pleased and honored that once again this year we will be representing Race Against Drugs" said Bill Wurster owner of the U-8 Racing Team. This event is one of a nation wide program in which Bill Wurster and driver Mark Evans are currently working with the U.S. Department of Justice to help children stay drug free.
